Exam Pattern for CUCET Bsc-

CUCET Bsc Paper consists of 100 Questions , 25 each of Physics, Chemistry , Mathematics/Bio and General Awareness. Time allotted to solve these questions is 3 Hours. There is negative marking of one fourth of each question in CUCET.

Booklist for CUCET-

General Awareness-

Reading good quality newspaper is the prime requirement. Also following books are highly recommended for preparation of reasoning questions and general knowledge questions: Reasoning book by RS Agarwal and Lucent book for GK.

Maths-

Maths is all about practice. Hence you require one book for understanding theory and one book for practising lot of questions. Following two books will solve your search for this : RS Agarwal Higher Secondary Maths and DAS Gupta MCQ

Chemistry-

NCERT is the best and indisputably the best for Chemistry  of not only CUCET but also of JEE. Hence don’t get trapped in long and unnecessary books for Chemistry books, just read NCERT well. For question solving here is an excellent question book for Chemistry- MCQ Question Bank.

Physics-

Concept is the must thing for solving Physics questions. Hence for concepts and solved examples refer to NCERT and Concepts of Physics by HC Verma sir. For solving good amount of competitive questions, refer to Physics MCQ Boook.

Biology-

Biology section is only for Bsc (Bio) candidates. Hence for Biology focus only on NCERT. Ncert Biology is more than enough for the CUCET Bsc (Bio) Paper.
