CUCET Btech Syllabus
CUCET Btech syllabus – CUCET is Central universities common entrance test conducted by NTA
(Official Website of CUCET- cucet.nta.nic.in). Knowing the syllabus is one of the most important part of any exam & in fact it’s the first step towards the preparation. Here is a very detailed overview of CUCET Btech syllabus.
CUCET syllabus for Btech is similar to the syllabus of other national level competitions in India like JEE, WBJEE, etc. Only difference is that in CUCET NTA asks a General Awareness section which is new to many candidates. Given below is the detailed syllabus of CUCET-
General Awareness-
Mathematical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Current Affairs and General Knowledge
Mathematics-
Similar to all chapters of NCERT Mathematics Class 11 & 12 (Calculus, Algebra, Conic Section, Trigonometry)
Physics-
Similar to all chapters of NCERT Physics Class 11 & 12 (Mechanics, Thermodynamics, SHM and Waves, Optics, Modern Physics, Electrostatics, Current electricity, Magnetism, Semiconductor, Communication System)
Chemistry-
Similar to all chapters of NCERT Chemistry Class 11 & 12 (Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry )
What is Paper Pattern of CUCET Btech paper?
It consists of 100 Questions , 25 each of Physics, Chemistry , Mathematics and General Awareness. Time allotted to solve these questions is 3 Hours. There is negative marking of one fourth of each question in CUCET.
