CUET syllabus
CUET syllabus – CUET- Central university entrance test conducted by NTA (Official Website of CUET- cucet.nta.nic.in ). Knowing the syllabus is one of the most important part of any exam & in fact it’s the first step towards the preparation. Here is a very detailed overview of CUET syllabus.
CUET syllabus is similar to the syllabus of other national level competitions in India like JEE, BITSAT, WBJEE, NEET etc. Only difference is that in CUET NTA asks a General Awareness section which is new to many candidates. Given below is the detailed syllabus of CUET-
General Awareness-
Mathematical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Current Affairs and General Knowledge
Mathematics-
Similar to all chapters of NCERT Mathematics Class 11 & 12. Mathematics paper is to be given by only students belonging to the mathematics stream. (Calculus, Algebra, Conic Section, Trigonometry)
Physics-
Similar to all chapters of NCERT Physics Class 11 & 12 (Mechanics, Thermodynamics, SHM and Waves, Optics, Modern Physics, Electrostatics, Current electricity, Magnetism, Semiconductor, Communication System)
Chemistry-
Similar to all chapters of NCERT Chemistry Class 11 & 12 (Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry )
Biology-
Similar to all chapters of NCERT Biology Class 11 & 12 (Only for PCB candidates)
What is Paper Pattern of CUET Btech paper?
It consists of 100 Questions , 25 each of Physics, Chemistry , Mathematics/Biology and General Awareness. Time allotted to solve these questions is 3 Hours. There is negative marking of one fourth of each question in CUET.
