What if I cannot crack JEE?
What if I cannot crack JEE?– A thought that comes billions of times in the heads of millions of aspirants and future engineers of India.
You were unable to crack JEE ! So what? Think for once ‘so What’? JEE is not an examination, it’s just another short journey of your life and even if you cannot overcome this obstacle of your life then also you should be proud of yourself and your choices. You must learn lessons and move on.
I have myself seen many of my friends who get so much attached to this dream that they stop improving themselves just because they cannot cross that 90 percentile threshold! But we all must understand the fact that life is much bigger than this one exam and life lessons have more worth than JEE.
Your talent and hard work is what’s going to matter the most when you sit in any company interview whether off campus or on campus, your knowledge and expertise is going to matter the most whenever you are going to sit in the next exam of your life and not these friction-less wedge questions!
We have a problem of being attached to some stereotypes of the society that if you get into any of the good government engineering college you will get ten Million packages and what not! But the reality is, you are not the one who chooses companies, it’s companies who choose you! Hence if you are up to the standards and requirements of the company you will be hired at your said price no matter whether you have a degree from Massachusetts or from a local private college or even degree-less! But we, like any average Indian engineering aspirant, keep thinking that a student in that college is superior to me and a student of that college is inferior to the student of that college. The reality is, your decisions and belief system is going to help in your life and not any college or individual.
Although it’s correct that getting into a central government funded engineering institute helps in grabbing more opportunities than any other institute which can have comparatively less facilities but you must agree with the fact that 99% of all engineering students work on their own and not with the help of institute or it’s faculties. So what will stop you from studying your favourite topic or stream in your college? Actually it will be your weak confidence and belief system that will stop you from working hard in your college. Hence it’s better that you choose your branch in which you want to actually work and polish your skills rather than sitting ideal and crying that you cannot crack JEE.
Like JEE there are tons of examinations whose difficulty level is far greater than JEE and there are many opportunities still waiting for you. Hence don’t waste your time in over thinking and better focus on your coming future which can be bright only if you start putting efforts from today.
